Reconnect Date Night - Couples' Workshop

Many couples have a practice of a yearly meeting to re-group and evaluate the course of their marriage and family life. Some call it a "Navigator's Council," imagining the marriage as a ship to be steered; others have dubbed it a "Family Board Meeting" or "State of the Union" with mother and father working together to lead their family. In this workshop, we will provide time, space, and materials for you and your spouse to work through a review of the past year and set goals and a vision for the upcoming year. Our guest speaker--marriage therapist and Relevant Radio host Doug Hinderer--will give tips, suggestions, and a framework for how to improve our self-knowledge, communication, and aspirations as a couple. 

Registration covers a candlelit table for two, printed program with discussion guide,  and a delicious dinner and dessert. 

The schedule will roughly be as follows:

5:00- Mingle and settle in 

5:20- Presentation on Year-in-Review 

5:30- Couples' time to complete year-in-review

6:30- Dinner served 

7:00- Presentation by Doug Hinderer

7:30- Time for questions 

7:45- Couples' time to discuss new year goals and priorities 

9:00- Conclusion and Social time
